When to Enroll in Medicare

Before you turn 65, contact IHS. We will help you avoid common mistakes such as late enrollment penalties and choosing the wrong supplement, Part C (Medicare Advantage plan) or Part D (prescription insurance).

Medicare open enrollment occurs each year from October 15 through December 7. Changes are effective January 1 of the following calendar year. During open enrollment, IHS can evaluate the applicable insurance carriers and Part D drug providers, run comparisons, and make recommendations on the best choice.

Understanding Medicare is complicated and confusing. Contact IHS today to guide you through the process.
